This counter knife can be used for Eldan SC 1408, Eldan SC, and Super Knife series from the Eldan Recycling company.

Through the use of various materials and the variance in the shape, the spare part can be matched to the area of application in terms of throughput and service life.

Comparatively, the W9-variant is softer than the X-version. Furthermore, the W9-option wears also faster. On the other hand, it has the advantage of increased toughness and is also resistant to impurities.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the tool life of the counter knife.

Hardfacing or welding on this variation should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.
