The counter knife can be inserted for the crusher, the shredder, the pre-shredder and the post-shredder of the Vecoplan brand.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The performance of the cutting tool depends predominantly on the variant of the material and cutting shape.

Knives in this W-version are 5% softer in comparison to the X-option and have a lower susceptibility to impurities. This component is produced out of alloyed tool steel, which makes it suitable for demanding areas of applications. However this variation has a shorter tool life.

In this version, the spare parts are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears consistently over its lifetime.

We emphasise that this variation should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted centered on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.

The spare part suits knives and cutters with a length and width of 60mm. Due to the broad range of shredding models, further configuration variants may be available.

When fitting the counter knife, please ensure that it is only fixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with an undamaged contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
