This counter knife perfectly fits the Lindner Vega model by the machine manufacturer Lindner Recyclingtech.
Cutting performance and durability:
The wear behaviour and thus also the knife life can be influenced by the material and the cutting geometry. This means that the performance can be well adjusted to the application area.
Comparatively, the W9-option is softer than the X-variation. In addition, the W9-version wears also faster. On the other hand, it has the advantage of increased toughness and is also insensitive to impurities.
Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the tool life of the counter knife.
However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the products. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.
Fastening in the machine:
The counter knife is mounted centered on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.
The product is applicable for knives and also cutters with the length and width of 65mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, further configuration variants can be realised.
When attaching, please also assure that the support of the knives is in a flat condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
