Comparatively, the W9-variation is softer than the X-option. In addition, the W9-variant wears also faster. On the other hand, it has the advantage of increased toughness and is also resistant to impurities.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the tool life of the counter knife.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of components of this version, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally impaired. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.

This product fits knives and cutters with a length and width of 38mm. Due to the wide range of models, further configuration variants may be available.

When attaching the counter knife, please assure that it is only adapted to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
