Cutting performance and durability:

Through the use of different materials and varying the cutting geometry, the product can be matched to the application area in terms of throughput and longevity.

The W9-variant wears faster than the X-option, but also has increased toughness and is insensitive to impurities. However, the hardness of the W9-variation is lower than that of the X-version.

Products of this version are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its tool life.

However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the spare parts. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted centered on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.

The spare part suits knives and cutters with a length and width of 38mm. Due to the wide range of recycling models, further configuration variations may be available.

When fitting the counter knife, please ensure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with an intact contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
