Cutting performance and durability:

The performance of this cutting tool depends predominantly on the variant of the material and shape.

This X-option counter knife is made of tool steel and corresponds to the standard version in most applications. Consequently, it has a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a good compromise between resistance to wear and toughness.

In this version, the components are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears homogenously over its lifetime.

However, this option must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the spare parts. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted left on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.

The counter knife can be combined with knives and cutters with a length and width of 60mm. Due to the broad range of recycling machines, further configuration variants are possible.

It is imperative that the counter knife is only affixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with intact supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
