The product shown is made of tool steel in the X-version, which is our standard variant for most application areas. The hardness of this counter knife is in the medium range.

This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

Items of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life span.

Hardfacing or welding on this variation should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be seriously weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:
