In this version, the cutting tools are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears steadily over its lifetime.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of components of this variation, as the structure will otherwise be severely impaired. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.

The item suits knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the wide range of shredding machines, other configuration options may be available.
