Compatibility with machines:

The counter knife is perfectly fitting for crushers, shredders, pre-shredders and post-shredders from Vecoplan.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The wear and tear behaviour and thus also the lifetime of the product can be impacted by the material and the shape. This means that the performance can be well customised to the application area.

By contrast, the W9-variant wears faster than the X-version due to its lower hardness. Also the resistance to impurities and the high toughness of the W9-option is a remarkable feature compared to the X-variation.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures persistent wear over the tool life of the counter knife.

We emphasise that this variant should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted left on the cutting device. The other parts of this set can be found under the accessories.

This counter knife can be used for knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the wide range of models, other configuration variations are possible.

It is imperative that the counter knife is only installed to knife holders or knife crossbars with flat supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
