Compatibility with machines:

The counter knife has been designed for Weima WL machines by manufacturer Weima Maschinenbau GmbH.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

Through the use of different materials and the variance in the shape, the component can be customised to the break down application in terms of throughput and durability.

This counter knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-version, which is the standard option in most applications.

This combines both toughness and wear resistance in a balanced ratio.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the service life of the counter knife.

Hardfacing or welding on this variation should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be significantly weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted left on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

The cutting tool is fitting for knives and also cutters with the length and width of 40mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, further configuration variants can be realised.

When installing the counter knife, please assure that it is only applied to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
