Cutting performance and durability:

The wear and tear behaviour and thus also the knife life can be influenced by the material and the shape. This means that the performance can be well adjusted to the application.

The X-option of this product is made of tool steel. The version has a medium hardness and lays between the W- and Y-versions.

This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the lifetime of the counter knife.

Hardfacing or welding on this variant should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted left on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

This counter knife can be combined with knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the wide range of recycling machines, other configuration variants are possible.

When installing, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in an undamaged condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
