Counter knife GMVP2048-W0L from CUTMETALL for crushing machines from Vecoplan

 

Compatibility with machines:

This counter knife can be used for the crusher, the shredder, the pre-shredder and the post-shredder of the Vecoplan company.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The cutting shape and the material used for constructing have a significant impact on the insensitivity and knife life.

Knives in this W-version are 5% softer in comparison to the X-variation and have a lower susceptibility to impurities. The spare is produced out of alloyed tool steel, which makes it applicable for demanding areas of applications. However this variant has a shorter longevity.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the lifetime of the counter knife.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of cutting tools of this option, as the structure will otherwise be severely impaired. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted left on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

The counter knife can be combined with knives and cutters with a length and width of 60mm. Due to the wide range of models, other configuration variants are possible.

When fitting the counter knife, please ensure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with an intact contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
