This X-variant counter knife is made of tool steel and corresponds to the standard option in most applications. Therefore, it has a medium hardness.
This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.
Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures uniform wear over the service life of the counter knife.
To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is crucial not to armour or weld on this type, as it will significantly weaken the structure.
Fastening in the machine:
The counter knife is mounted left on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.
This product fits knives and cutters with a length and width of 110mm. Due to the wide range of shredding models, other configuration options may be available.
