In the X-option, this counter knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variation in most applications. It is defined by a medium hardness.

Here we offer you an applicable combination of insensitivity to wear and toughness at the same time.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures uniform wear over the service life of the counter knife.

Hardfacing or welding on this version should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be significantly weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted external on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

This component is suitable for knives and also cutters with the length and width of 60mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, various configuration options can be realised.

When fitting the counter knife, please ensure that it is only applied to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
