The counter knife has been constructed for Weima WLK machines by manufacturer Weima Maschinenbau GmbH.
Cutting performance and durability:
Through the use of particular materials and the variance in the cutting shape, the component can be adjusted to the operational scenario in terms of throughput and lifespan.
The W-option has a lower wear insensitivity compared to the X-version, but shows a higher toughness. Knives of this variant are used when the contact surface is no longer in an undamaged status or the input contains impurities. In the W-variation, this cutting tool is also manufactured from tool steel.
Cutting tools of this variant are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life span.
To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will fundamentally weaken the structure.

This item fits knives and cutters with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the wide range of shredding models, further configuration variants may be available.
When installing the counter knife, please ensure that it is only fixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
