Comparatively, the W9-variation wears more quickly than the X-variant due to its lower hardness. Also the resistance to impurities and the high toughness of the W9-option is a remarkable feature compared to the X-version.
Components of this variant are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its tool life.
However, this version must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the components. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

This product is fitting for knives and also cutters with the length and width of 38mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, other configuration options can be realised.
When installing the counter knife, please assure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
