Cutting performance and durability:

The wear behaviour and thus also the longevity can be impacted by the material and the cutting shape. This means that the efficiency can be well adjusted to the break down application.

This alloyed tool steel is 5 % softer than the X-variant and is therefore less susceptible to fractures. This makes this W-option ideal for applications where impurities are present in the input. In return, however, this version has a shorter service life.

Cutting tools of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life span.

Hardfacing or welding on this variation should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be seriously weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife is mounted external on the cutting device. The other parts of the set can be found under the accessories.

The cutting tool is suitable for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 36mm. With regard to the various range of models, further configuration variants can be realised.

When attaching, please also assure that the support of the knives is in an intact condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
