In the X-version, this counter knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard option in most break down applications. It is defined by a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a beneficial compromise between resistance to wear and toughness.

In this variant, the products are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears evenly over its lifespan.

We emphasise that this option should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife will be sold as a set of 8 parts.

The item suits knives and cutters with a length and width of 80mm. Due to the broad range of models, further configuration variants may be available.

It is imperative that the counter knife is only affixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with ideal supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
