This cutting tool presented is made of tool steel in the X-version, which is our standard variant for most application areas. The hardness of this counter knife is in the medium range.

Here you are offered a good compromise between insensitivity to wear and toughness.

In this option, the cutting tools are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears evenly over its lifespan.

However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the items. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The component is ideal for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 40mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, further configuration variations can be realised.

When installing the counter knife, please ensure that it is only applied to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
