In the X-version, this counter knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard option in most break down applications. It is identified by a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a beneficial compromise between insensitivity to wear and toughness.

In this option, the items are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears evenly over its lifetime.

Hardfacing or welding on this variation should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be acutely weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife will be sold as a set of 7 parts.

This item is ideal for knives and also cutters with the length and width of 80mm. With regard to the various range of models, further configuration variants can be realised.

When installing, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in an intact condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
