In the X-option, the counter knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variant in most applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.
Here we offer you a perfect combination of resistance to wear and toughness at the same time.
Cutting tools of this variation are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its life cycle.
It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of items of this version, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.
Fastening in the machine:
The cutting tool is sold as a whole set, consisting of 6 parts.
This product fits knives and cutters with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the broad range of shredding machines, other configuration variations may be available.
When attaching, please also assure that the support of the knives is in an ideal condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
