Compatibility with machines:
This counter knife can be fitted for Vecoplan VAZ and Vecoplan VAZ 2500 machine models from the Vecoplan company.
Cutting performance and durability:
Through the use of various materials and the variance in the cutting shape, the cutting tool can be adjusted to the operational scenario in terms of throughput and longevity.
Due to the alloyed tool steel of the Y-variant, it is approx. 5 % harder than the X-version. This means that a longer durability can be secured. In comparison, however, the counter knife is more predisposed to impurities, which can lead to breakage more quickly.
In this option, the cutting tools are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears homogenously over its lifespan.
It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of components of this variation, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally impaired. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.
Fastening in the machine:
The counter knife will be sold as a set of 6 parts.
The counter knife can be combined with knives and cutters with a length and width of 60mm. Due to the wide range of recycling machines, further configuration options are possible.
When fitting the counter knife, please ensure that it is only applied to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.

The product measures 2474mm in length, 115mm in width and 25mm in height.
This counter knife belongs to the Premium Line, which is manufactured exclusively in Germany.
