This X-option counter knife is made of tool steel and corresponds to the standard version in most application scenarios. Consequently, it has a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a good compromise between insensitivity to wear and toughness.

Items of this variant are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains persistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its tool life.

We emphasise that this option should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife will be sold as a set of 6 parts.

This spare part suits knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 60mm. Due to the broad range of shredding models, further configuration variants may be available.

When attaching, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in a flat condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
