This counter knife is to be fitted for the Vecoplan VAZ, Vecoplan VAZ, and Vecoplan VAZ 2500 model series from Vecoplan.

The cutting shape and the material used for constructing have a significant effect on the insensitivity and lifespan.

The item shown is made of tool steel in the X-variation, which is our standard variant for most application scenarios. The hardness of this counter knife is in the medium range.

This combines both toughness and wear resistance in a balanced ratio.

Cutting tools of this version are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its tool life.

However, this option must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the cutting tools. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

This counter knife is sold as a whole set, consisting of 6 parts.

The counter knife can be used for knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 60mm. Due to the broad range of recycling machines, other configuration options are possible.

When installing the counter knife, please assure that it is only fixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with an undamaged contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
