Compatibility with machines:
This counter knife can be fitted for the Vecoplan VAZ, Vecoplan VAZ, and Vecoplan VAZ 2500 models from the manufacturer Vecoplan.
Cutting performance and durability:
Through the use of various materials and varying the shape, the component can be customised to the area of application in terms of throughput and durability.
The W-version is produced from alloy tool steel. Against the X-variant, it has a shorter operating time due to the 5 % lower hardness. However it is also less fragile in parallel. Knives of the W-variant are applicable for utilizations where the contact surface is no longer flat or there are impurities in the input.
Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures uniform wear over the tool life of the counter knife.
However, this option must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the spare parts. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.
Fastening in the machine:
The counter knife is sold as a whole set, consisting of 6 parts.
The item is suitable for knives and also cutters with the length and width of 40mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, other configuration options can be realised.
It is imperative that the counter knife is only affixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with intact supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.

This counter knife is 2480mm long, 104.13mm wide and 25mm high.
As this counter knife belongs to the Premium Line, the spare part is produced exclusively in Germany.
