This X-option counter knife is made of tool steel and corresponds to the standard variant in most application areas. Therefore, it has a medium hardness.

This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the tool life of the counter knife.

We emphasise that this variation should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The cutting tool is sold as a whole set, consisting of 6 parts.

This counter knife can be combined with knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 60mm. Due to the wide range of models, other configuration options are possible.

When installing, please also assure that the support of the knives is in an undamaged condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
