The cutting shape and the material used for constructing have a significant impact on the resistance and lifespan.

This alloyed tool steel is 5 % softer than the X-version and is therefore less susceptible to fractures. This makes this W-variation fitting for applications where impurities are present in the input. In return, however, this variant has a shorter operating time.

Cutting tools of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its tool life.

Hardfacing or welding on this variant should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be significantly weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The product is sold as a whole set, consisting of 6 parts.

This cutting tool suits knives and cutters with a length and width of 60mm. Due to the broad range of recycling machines, other configuration options may be available.

When installing, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in an ideal condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
