For crushers, shredders, pre-shredders and post-shredders by the producer Bano Recycling s.r.l. the counter knife is perfectly applicable.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The wear and tear behaviour and thus also the lifetime of the product can be impacted by the material and the shape. This means that the efficiency can be well adjusted to the break down application.

The counter knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-version, which is the standard variation in most break down applications.

Here you are offered a beneficial compromise between resistance to wear and toughness.

In this variant, the spare parts are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears steadily over its lifetime.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is crucial not to armour or weld on this type, as it will acutely weaken the structure.

 

Fastening in the machine:

This counter knife can be combined with knives and cutters with a length and width of 60mm. Due to the broad range of recycling machines, further configuration variants are possible.

When fitting the counter knife, please assure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with an intact contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
