The B1-variant has a high core strength, but is also more susceptible to wear. The advantage of this variation is its high toughness. Components of this design can also be used with input material that is contaminated with impurities.
Cutting tools of this version are case-hardened, so that the hardness is clearly higher in the edge layer than in the core.
Fastening in the machine:
The spare part is fitting for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 110mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, other configuration options can be realised.
It is imperative that the counter knife is only affixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with intact supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
