This counter knife can be installed in the Vecoplan VAZ model range manufactured by Vecoplan.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The efficiency of the spare part depends primarily on the variation of the material and cutting shape.

In the X-variant, this counter knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard version in most break down applications. It is defined by a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a good compromise between insensitivity to wear and toughness.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the tool life of the counter knife.

However, this option must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the items. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The product fits knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the wide range of models, further configuration options may be available.

When fitting the counter knife, please ensure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.

 

General characteristics:

The component measures 545mm in length, 176.4mm in width and 30mm in height.
