This product shown is made of tool steel in the X-variant, which is our standard version for most areas of application. The hardness of this counter knife is in the medium range.
Here you are offered a balanced relationship between resistance to wear and toughness simultaneously.
In this option, the components are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears steadily over its lifetime.
We emphasise that this version should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.
Fastening in the machine:
The spare part suits knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 65mm. Due to the broad range of recycling models, further configuration variants may be available.
