Cutting performance and durability:

Through the use of different materials and varying the cutting shape, the spare part can be matched to the area of application in terms of throughput and lifetime.

The X-option of this item is made of tool steel. The cutting tool has a medium hardness and lays between the W- and Y-variants.

Here you are offered a good compromise between insensitivity to wear and toughness.

In this variant, the components are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears consistently over its lifespan.

However, this version must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the cutting tools. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

 

Fastening in the machine:

This component fits knives and cutters with a length and width of 43mm. Due to the broad range of shredding models, other configuration variations may be available.

It is imperative that the counter knife is only installed to knife holders or knife crossbars with ideal supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
