Comparatively, the W9-variant wears more quickly than the X-variation due to its lower hardness. Also the resistance to impurities and the high toughness of the W9-version is a noteworthy feature compared to the X-option.

Items of this option are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its tool life.

We emphasise that this version should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The product is applicable for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 43mm. With regard to the various range of models, further configuration variants can be realised.

When installing, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in an ideal condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
