The shape and the material used for constructing have a significant influence on the insensitivity and lifetime of the product.

Comparatively, the W9-variant is softer than the X-variation. In addition, the W9-version wears also faster. On the other hand, it has the advantage of increased toughness and is also insensitive to impurities.

In this option, the cutting tools are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears homogenously over its lifetime.

However, this version must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the items. Subsequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

Fastening in the machine:

This counter knife can be combined with knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 43mm. Due to the broad range of models, other configuration variations are possible.

When installing the counter knife, please assure that it is only adapted to knife holders or knife crossbars with an intact contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
