Comparatively, the W9-option is softer than the X-version. Furthermore, the W9-variation wears also faster. On the other hand, it has the advantage of increased toughness and is also resistant to impurities.

Cutting tools of this variant are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its tool life.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will significantly weaken the structure.

Fastening in the machine:

This product suits knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 43mm. Due to the broad range of recycling models, further configuration options may be available.

When installing, please also assure that the support of the knives is in a flat condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
