The cutting shape and the material used for constructing have a significant influence on the resistance and durability.

In the X-option, the counter knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard version in most break down applications. It is characterised by a medium hardness.

Here we offer you a perfect combination of insensitivity to wear and toughness at the same time.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the lifetime of the counter knife.

However, this variant must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively impacts the structure of the products. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife will be sold as a set of 5 parts.

The counter knife can be used for knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 80mm. Due to the broad range of shredder models, further configuration options are possible.

It is imperative that the counter knife is only affixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with flat supports, as otherwise the attachment may cause breakage.
