This X-variation counter knife is made of tool steel and corresponds to the standard option in most break down applications. Therefore, it has a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a good compromise between insensitivity to wear and toughness.

Components of this version are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its tool life.

We emphasise that this variant should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

This counter knife is sold as a whole set, consisting of 5 parts.

This cutting tool suits knives and cutters with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the broad range of recycling machines, further configuration options may be available.

When attaching the counter knife, please ensure that it is only applied to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.
