Through the use of different materials and varying the cutting shape, the spare part can be customised to the operational scenario in terms of throughput and service life.

This item shown is made of tool steel in the X-version, which is our standard variant for most operational scenarios. The hardness of this counter knife is in the medium range.

Here you are offered a balanced relationship between resistance to wear and toughness simultaneously.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the tool life of the counter knife.

Hardfacing or welding on this variation should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The counter knife will be sold as a set of 5 parts.

This cutting tool fits knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 80mm. Due to the broad range of shredding models, further configuration variations may be available.

When installing, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in a flat condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.

The subsequent dimensions are available: 1989mm length, 124.7mm width, 25mm height.

As this counter knife belongs to our Premium Line, the component comes exclusively from German production.
