This counter knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-variation, which is the standard version in most areas of application.

Here we offer you a suitable combination of insensitivity to wear and toughness at the same time.

In this variant, the products are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears homogenously over its lifetime.

Hardfacing or welding on this option should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be seriously weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

The item is sold as a whole set, consisting of 5 parts.

This counter knife can be used for knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 60mm. Due to the broad range of shredder models, other configuration variations are possible.

When fitting the counter knife, please ensure that it is only fixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
