This X-variation counter knife is made of tool steel and corresponds to the standard version in most application areas. Therefore, it has a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a good compromise between insensitivity to wear and toughness.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a consistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures homogenous wear over the lifetime of the counter knife.

However, this option must not be armoured or welded on, as it negatively influences the structure of the components. Consequently, fractures and machine damage are possible.

Fastening in the machine:

This counter knife is sold as a whole set, consisting of 5 parts.

The counter knife can be used for knives and cutters with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the broad range of recycling machines, other configuration options are possible.

When installing, please also ensure that the support of the knives is in an intact condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.

The measures of this component are 1988.7mm in length, 104mm in width and 25mm in height.
