Compatibility with machines:

The counter knife is fitting for crushers, shredders, pre-shredders and post-shredders from Lindner Recyclingtech.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The cutting shape and the material used for constructing have a significant influence on the insensitivity and longevity.

Knives in this W-variation are 5% softer in comparison to the X-option and have a lower susceptibility to impurities. This part is made out of alloyed tool steel, which makes it applicable for demanding areas of applications. However this version has a shorter tool lifespan.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures persistent wear over the service life of the counter knife.

We emphasise that this variant should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative impact on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The spare part fits knives and cutters with a length and width of 43mm. Due to the wide range of models, other configuration options may be available.

When attaching the counter knife, please assure that it is only fixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with an undamaged contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
