The W9-version wears more quickly than the X-option, but also has increased toughness and is insensitive to impurities. However, the hardness of the W9-variation is lower than that of the X-variation.

To avoid breakage and machine damage, it is important not to armour or weld on this type, as it will seriously weaken the structure.
