This item is ideally suitable for crushers, shredders, pre-shredders, and post-shredders from Mewa/Ehehalt/Andritz Mewa/THM.
Cutting performance and durability:
The wear behaviour and thus also the lifetime of the product can be influenced by the material and the cutting shape. This means that the efficiency can be well configured to the input.
This B1-version is characterized by its insensitivity to impurities and high toughness. This follows from the high core strength of this variation. Nonetheless, knives of this variant wear out more quickly.
In this option, the items are case-hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the cutting tool wears out less at the beginning of its life cycle, but its performance drops dramatically afterwards.
Fastening in the machine:
The counter knife can be used for knives and cutters with a length and width of 38mm. Due to the wide range of shredder models, other configuration variants are possible.
When installing the counter knife, please ensure that it is only fixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
General characteristics:
The measurements of the counter knife are 480mm long, 96mm wide and 18mm high.
