This combines both toughness and wear insensitivity in a balanced ratio.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the service life of the counter knife.

We emphasise that this variant should not be armoured or welded on. This has a negative effect on the material structure of the counter knife, which can subsequently lead to breakage and machine damage.

Fastening in the machine:

This spare part fits knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 60mm. Due to the wide range of shredding machines, other configuration options may be available.

When installing, please also assure that the support of the knives is in a flat condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
