Cutting performance and durability:

The wear and tear behaviour and thus also the service life can be impacted by the material and the cutting shape. This means that the performance can be well adjusted to the application scenario.

This X-option counter knife is made of tool steel and corresponds to the standard variation in most application areas. Consequently, it has a medium hardness.

This combines both toughness and wear resistance in a balanced ratio.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a persistent hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures uniform wear over the lifetime of the counter knife.

Hardfacing or welding on this variant should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be seriously weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The cutting tool fits knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the wide range of recycling machines, further configuration variants may be available.

When attaching the counter knife, please ensure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.

The dimensions of the spare part are 413.8mm in length, 114.5mm in width and 28mm in height.
