The counter knife is made of tool steel and is thus assigned to our X-option, which is the standard version in most break down applications.

Here you are offered a good compromise between insensitivity to wear and toughness.

Components of this variant are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains consistent from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is homogenous in relation to its tool life.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of products of this variation, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally impaired. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.

This counter knife can be used for knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the wide range of recycling machines, other configuration options are possible.

When fitting the counter knife, please assure that it is only attached to knife holders or knife crossbars with an intact contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.

The measures of the counter knife are 413.5mm long, 109mm wide and 28mm high.
