In the X-option, the counter knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variation in most applications. It is identified by a medium hardness.
Here you are offered a balanced relationship between insensitivity to wear and toughness simultaneously.
Spare parts of this variant are hardened throughout, which means that this hardness remains the same from the edge to the core. Due to that the wear is even in relation to its life cycle.
Hardfacing or welding on this version should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.
Fastening in the machine:
This item fits knives and cutting crowns with a length and width of 110mm. Due to the broad range of recycling models, other configuration variants may be available.
When fitting the counter knife, please ensure that it is only fixed to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface, as otherwise breakage may occur.
