Compatibility with machines:

This item is excellently suitable for crushers, shredders, pre-shredders, and post-shredders from Eldan Recycling.

 

Cutting performance and durability:

Through the use of particular materials and the variance in the cutting geometry, the cutting tool can be configured to the operational scenario in terms of throughput and lifetime.

This alloyed tool steel is 5 % softer than the X-version and is therefore less sensitive to fractures. This makes this W-option applicable for utilizations where impurities are present in the input. In return, however, this variant has a shorter longevity.

Due to the through-hardening process, there is a uniform hardness from the edge layer to the core. This ensures consistent wear over the tool life of the counter knife.

Hardfacing or welding on this variation should be avoided, as the structure will otherwise be significantly weakened. This can lead to breakages and machine damage.
