Compatibility with machines:

This product is excellently applicable for crushers, shredders, pre-shredders, and post-shredders from Zerma (Amis).

 

Cutting performance and durability:

The wear and tear behaviour and thus also the knife life can be impacted by the material and the cutting geometry. This means that the efficiency can be well customised to the break down application.

The W-version is manufactured from alloy tool steel. Against the X-variant, it has a shorter tool life due to the 5 % lower hardness. However it is also less fragile in parallel. Knives of the W-variant are suitable for applications where the contact surface is no longer intact or there are impurities in the input material.

In this option, the cutting tools are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears consistently over its lifetime.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of products of this variation, as the structure will otherwise be severely weakened. Consequently, breakage and machine damage may occur.

 

Fastening in the machine:

This cutting tool is fitting for knives and also cutting crowns with the length and width of 60mm. With regard to the diverse range of models, other configuration variations can be realised.

When attaching the counter knife, please assure that it is only fitted to knife holders or knife crossbars with a flat contact surface in order to prevent breakage.

 

General characteristics:

The dimensions of the counter knife are 399mm long, 110mm wide and 30mm high.

This favourable variant in comparison to our Premium Line is part of the Eco Line.
