In the X-version, this counter knife is made of tool steel, which is our standard variant in most applications. It is identified by a medium hardness.

Here you are offered a beneficial compromise between resistance to wear and toughness.

In this option, the spare parts are hardened from the edge layer to the core. This means that the counter knife wears homogenously over its lifetime.

It is imperative to avoid the welding on or hardfacing of products of this variation, as the structure will otherwise be fundamentally weakened. Therefore, breakage and machine damage may occur.

 

Fastening in the machine:

The cutting tool is sold as a whole set, consisting of 4 parts.

The counter knife can be combined with knives and cutters with a length and width of 40mm. Due to the broad range of models, further configuration variants are possible.

When attaching, please also assure that the support of the knives is in an ideal condition, as otherwise breakage may occur.
